For those of you who don't already know, there has been a strike scheduled for Friday, March 21st, 2008, during which we hope to have many members of LiveJournal provide LJ with absolutely no content for twenty-four hours. This means no posting and no commenting. If you post elsewhere and have it set up to be posted through a feed on LiveJournal, don't do it. Stay away from LiveJournal for twenty-four hours. That can't be too hard, can it? I know some of you are probably quite active on LiveJournal and will find it hard to stay away for an entire day, just as I will, but this is something that needs to be done, to show the people running LiveJournal that we're watching the changes they are making, that we're paying attention, that we're discontent, and that we want to be heard and taken in to consideration. We are not simply users who can be tossed to the side and ignored. We are the people who make up LiveJournal. Without us, without the content we create, without our words, our voices, our creativity, our participation, there would be no LiveJournal. This is a fact, and it needs to be realized and understood and then taken in to consideration when making decisions regarding the way that LiveJournal is run. The strike is only a few days away, so there isn't all too much time to prepare. While this is unfortunate, it isn't enough to keep this strike from taking place. It will take place, the second it is meant to, and it would be best to have as many people take part as possible. Please, spread the word. Spread it fast. There are only a few days to organize this. If you find that you care about LiveJournal or care about the people you interact with on LiveJournal or simply want it to remain a place where you can entertain yourself without constant censorship and money-hungry practices being thrown in without the consideration of those who use the service, act now. If you don't wish to spread the word, that is fine, but please: refrain from using LiveJournal on Friday, March 21st. Do something else for a change. It's for a good cause. (:

* It's about free and ad-free LiveJournal accounts being abolished for new members, ignoring the advice from the newly-formed Advisory Board.
* It's about LJ staff trying to sneak this decision in under the radar, and when people found out, telling the users it was done 'to make the signup process less confusing'.
* It's about LJ staff failing to apologize for trying to hide the facts from view and for lying about the actual reasons for their actions.

And if you're curious about my previous statement, we had a pizza party at school and I was sitting at a table with Brianna, Chloe, Nathan, Chris, Anna, Leianna and I think Suzanne. And as you can tell...We had soda in cans. And my soda can attacked Chris's soda can. And that's all. Then he left later on I think after I told Brianna, "If Chris and I shared drinks, it'd be an indirect kiss". And I told her that because she said that I'd be willing to share my drink with Chris. (Chris's drink ran out.)

How about chocolate cupcakes with lots of melty chocolate in the center, topped with star sprinkles? No no no, I should have a variety of toppings. So, it's decided. My infamous supermoist chocolate cupcakes, except with molten centers, topped with vanilla frosting, sprinkles or cherries. I should share some with Chris...But Bret's birthday falls on the 15th. But wait! I'm going to that dinner at that one high school for that Clash of The Classes thingy! maybe I should bring some then. durr I dunno, I don't think the guy even know who Bret Michaels is. So Chris wants to be my friend, but he says he'll only be my friend if I tone it down a bit. Let's see...He doesn't want me to chase him, poke him, spaz out (You should see me when I'm spazzing out. I'm all stomping my feet and flailing my arms. I don't know why, but I do it), scream my head off or give him cute nicknames like "Chrissy-kins". I didn't even know I called him that to his face! Unless someone told him my nickname for him. SUS-PI-CIOUS

On a semi-related note, why does my lunchtag always end up near Chris's lunchtag? Now, if you're not in my class, you obviously don't know what lunchtags are, so let me explain. There's a giant metal closet and on the side of it, there's 4 dividers to divide 4 sections. The sections are labeled hot lunch, cold lunch, milk only and absent. Now, everyone in my class has a magnet with their class number on it. (Everyone in my class is assigned a number. I'm number 20.) Every morning, our magnets are under the "absent" section. We have to find the magnet with our name on it and move it to hot lunch, cold lunch or milk only. "Hot lunch" is for people who are buying lunch, "cold lunch" is for people who brought lunch and "milk only" is for people who just need milk. If anyone's lunch tag is under "absent", that means they're absent or they forgot to move their lunchtag.

But yeah, about my lunchtag being near Chris's...Why does it happen? And does he notice? It's nothing to make a big deal out of, but....It's interesting.

For some reason, Becca wanted me to write an LJ post about her, so here goes.

Becca is one of my friends. We frequently talk on YIM (Yahoo! Instant Messenger) about school, random stuff and Chris. (No, she doesn't have a crush on him. Actually, I don't know what she thinks about him. But definitely no hard feelings. I do know she's not crazy like Jesse, though...) We go into conferences with other people, too. Sadly, we can't do voice conferences since she apparently doesn't have a computer mic.

But yeah, Becca's cool. It's fun talking to her on messenger. and I honestly can't think of anything else, sorries
