I'm suddenly getting obsessed with anime stuff again. At one point I stopped obsessing for some reason, but now I'm back to my obsessive anime fangirl self. I blame it on the Discount Anime DVD site. I mean, look at this

http://www.discountanimedvd.com/Product-26830-Anime-Black-Cat-Key-Chain-Rinslet-Pink-Fuzzy-Ball.asp

PINK FUZZY BALL, GUYS. PINK. My collection is like, way outdated. I wonder how many volumes of Bleach and FMA are out now...hmmm, apparently I'm not that far behind.

brb guys gonna make shopping (birthday?) list

This means no posting and no commenting. If you post elsewhere and have it set up to be posted through a feed on LiveJournal, don't do it. Stay away from LiveJournal for twenty-four hours. That can't be too hard, can it? I know some of you are probably quite active on LiveJournal and will find it hard to stay away for an entire day, just as I will, but this is something that needs to be done, to show the people running LiveJournal that we're watching the changes they are making, that we're paying attention, that we're discontent, and that we want to be heard and taken in to consideration. We are not simply users who can be tossed to the side and ignored. We are the people who make up LiveJournal. Without us, without the content we create, without our words, our voices, our creativity, our participation, there would be no LiveJournal. This is a fact, and it needs to be realized and understood and then taken in to consideration when making decisions regarding the way that LiveJournal is run. The strike is only a few days away, so there isn't all too much time to prepare. While this is unfortunate, it isn't enough to keep this strike from taking place. It will take place, the second it is meant to, and it would be best to have as many people take part as possible. Please, spread the word. Spread it fast. There are only a few days to organize this. If you find that you care about LiveJournal or care about the people you interact with on LiveJournal or simply want it to remain a place where you can entertain yourself without constant censorship and money-hungry practices being thrown in without the consideration of those who use the service, act now. If you don't wish to spread the word, that is fine, but please: refrain from using LiveJournal on Friday, March 21st. Do something else for a change. It's for a good cause. (:

For background on this strike and why it is being held, please read the following posts:
http://beckyzoole.livejournal.com/394838.html
http://beckyzoole.livejournal.com/395310.html

To find out exactly when the strike begins and ends, depending on where you are located, please see this:
http://beckyzoole.livejournal.com/395125.html

What's this about?

* It's about free and ad-free LiveJournal accounts being abolished for new members, ignoring the advice from the newly-formed Advisory Board.
* It's about LJ staff trying to sneak this decision in under the radar, and when people found out, telling the users it was done 'to make the signup process less confusing'.
* It's about LJ staff failing to apologize for trying to hide the facts from view and for lying about the actual reasons for their actions.
* And finally, it's about the latest decision to hide certain user interests from the list of Most Popular Interests, some of them being fanfiction, bisexuality, sex and depression. This decision was not announced or explained in any way. Users found out for themselves.

And as you can tell...We had soda in cans. And my soda can attacked Chris's soda can. And that's all. Then he left later on I think after I told Brianna, "If Chris and I shared drinks, it'd be an indirect kiss". And I told her that because she said that I'd be willing to share my drink with Chris. (Chris's drink ran out.)

anyway, I said I wouldn't be writing about that guy anymore. wtf hana. ah well, maybe it's because I'm so used to writing about him a lot....

~Hana K.

BRET MICHAELS'S BIRTHDAY IS ON THE 15TH OF THIS MONTH, GUYS. HIS 46TH BIRTHDAY.

Now, what kind of cupcakes should I make for this occasion? Red velvet cupcakes with chocolate centers, topped with fluffy vanilla frosting, rainbow sprinkles and cherries? I JUST DON'T KNOW. D: maybe something yummy. What do 80's rockstars like? ...Wait, y'know what, that just gave me an idea. How about chocolate cupcakes with lots of melty chocolate in the center, topped with star sprinkles? No no no, I should have a variety of toppings. Rainbow star sprinkles, green sprinkles and cherries.

So, it's decided. My infamous supermoist chocolate cupcakes, except with molten centers, topped with vanilla frosting, sprinkles or cherries. I should share some with Chris...But Bret's birthday falls on the 15th. But wait! I'm going to that dinner at that one high school for that Clash of The Classes thingy! maybe I should bring some then. durr I dunno, I don't think the guy even know who Bret Michaels is. Ah well, I'll share 'em anyway. 'cuz it's Chris! Anyway, I promise to take pictures while I'm actually making the cupcakes, 'k guys? so don't bite my head off right away

Speaking of Chris, I think my Mom knows his Dad. She said there's someone at work named David who looks a lot like Chris. hmmm. Now let's hope she doesn't go up to David and go, "HAY DAVID, MY DAUGHTER HAS A HUUUUGE CRUSH ON YOUR SON! SHE THINKS HE'S OH-SO-KYOOT AND SQUISHABLE..." that'd be awkward. Or maybe the cookies just went to my head. Or the chocolate I ate after school. Or the muffins I ate this morning. GREAT BALLS OF FIRE, SUGAR OVERLOAD

anyway guys, this is all.
So Chris wants to be my friend, but he says he'll only be my friend if I tone it down a bit. Let's see...He doesn't want me to chase him, poke him, spaz out (You should see me when I'm spazzing out. I'm all stomping my feet and flailing my arms. I don't know why, but I do it), scream my head off or give him cute nicknames like "Chrissy-kins". I didn't even know I called him that to his face! Unless someone told him my nickname for him. SUS-PI-CIOUS

On a semi-related note, why does my lunchtag always end up near Chris's lunchtag? Now, if you're not in my class, you obviously don't know what lunchtags are, so let me explain. There's a giant metal closet and on the side of it, there's 4 dividers to divide 4 sections. The sections are labeled hot lunch, cold lunch, milk only and absent. Now, everyone in my class has a magnet with their class number on it. (Everyone in my class is assigned a number. I'm number 20.) Every morning, our magnets are under the "absent" section. We have to find the magnet with our name on it and move it to hot lunch, cold lunch or milk only. "Hot lunch" is for people who are buying lunch, "cold lunch" is for people who brought lunch and "milk only" is for people who just need milk. If anyone's lunch tag is under "absent", that means they're absent or they forgot to move their lunchtag.

But yeah, about my lunchtag being near Chris's...Why does it happen? And does he notice? It's nothing to make a big deal out of, but....It's interesting.

~Hana K ♥

Today, my teacher took my class to the park for P.E. When we arrived at the park, I picked a daisy, gave it to Michael and said, "Can you give this to Chris for me, please? But don't tell him it's from me." He inspected the daisy, then gave it to Suzanne and told her that I wanted her to give the daisy to Chris. I quickly added, "Don't tell him it's from me!". Then she went off and gave it to Chris. She said something to him, and Chris looked at me and smirked. At that I became shy, like Hinata from Naruto. Later on during P.E., I considered giving him a huuuge bouquet, but Jesse told me not to and I picked a dandelion for Chris instead. Like I did with the daisy, I had someone else (Nicole) give it to him.

So, anyway. Uncle Dondi and Auntie Diana are supposed to be coming over tonight. I'm on a sugar high right now.)

CHRIS IS AN ALIEN! HE IS, I TELL YA! AND HE'S NOT THAT OF THE IMMIGRANT KIND, EITHER! HE'S THE TYPE THAT FLIES IN HOVERCRAFTS AND ALL THAT NIFTY STUFF!

And now I'm talking to Mitzy and she's saying he might be a "redmage" instead. HOLY FLAMING POOP! Wait...What if he's related to Superman and he came from the same planet as him? This guy is not human. I swear, in my whole elementary school life, I have never been this crazily obsessed over a guy in the same grade as me! (Remember: The Hana likes older guys and she has only been attracted to older guys.)

Anyway, list of Chris's superpowers...

-Extreme cuteness
-High intelligence
-The ability to follow people really really fast
-The ability to sneak into people's dreams!
-Poke-ableness! (Seriously, this guy is fun to poke. POKEPOKEPOKEPOKE - OW MOM HE BIT ME)

This is all I know so far. But...CHRIS IS NOT HUMAN. NOT HUMANNNN

---------------------------

Alright, sugar's out of my system. Or not. I have no idea.

So, I'm sure you guys remember that I got gifts for my friends Moriah, Star and Sarah. However, at that time, I didn't mention what the gifts were. Well, I got Moriah a rubber ducky that lights up like a disco ball. Star got a necklace that changes color and Sarah got delicious, homemade extremely-moist chocolate cupcakes. (Will post pictures as soon I recreate what the cupcakes looked like with frosting and Ghiradelli brand chocolate on it!) I think Moriah especially loves her gift since she turned the disco ball ducky into a SUPER DISCO BALL DUCKY! And I think it's gonna save the world by bonking the computer teacher in the head. I dunno.

On an unrelated note...CHRIS DID A REPORT ON MY FAVORITE BOOK! It's called "Ender's Game".
My parents and I went down to Old Sacramento yesterday to try out the restaurant Joe's Crab Shack since everyone was saying it's "better than Red Lobster". Man, the food there is really good! Especially that six-layer chocolate cake. I can't believe I nearly ate the whole thing!

While we were over at Old Sacramento, we looked at some shops. We visited a toy store, a candy store overloaded with candy and a store with movie memorabilia. (Google "define memorabilia" if you don't know what the word means.) In the movie memorabilia store, there was one of those giant boards with holes you put your head through and get your picture taken. (I'm unsure of the proper term) So I stuck my head in the board and got my picture taken. I forgot what was on the board, though. hahaha...

When we went shopping at the toy store, I bought gifts for my friends Moriah and Star. I'm not telling what the gifts are, though. It's gonna be a surprise. :P Speaking of gifts, I'm making a gift for Sarah since her birthday was this week. I'm not telling what that gift is, either. All I know is that when Moriah gets her gift, she's gonna be confused. And when Star gets her gift, she's probably gonna kill me. And Sarah's probably gonna love her gift.

So after Old Sacramento, we (my parents and I) went to Borders as soon we were at 8 Mile Road. Mom stayed in the car since she was feeling sick, and Dad and I went inside to look at books. While Mom was in the car, she noticed that there was a truck next by her with a man in it. The man had his eyes closed and his mouth open, and Mom assumed he was sleeping. But 30 minutes passed, and the man wasn't moving until my Dad and I came back to the car. Mom was so close to calling 911!

Anyway, this morning I watched Rock of Love II with Bret Michaels like I always do. All I can say is that Bret looks really cute when he's sleeping. And that he looks really sexy hot cute in glasses. Also, a comment from me: GOOD GOODNESS CATHERINE, WHY THE HECK DID YOU WAKE UP BRET? He looked so cute while he was sleeping, too! And then you came in with that giant breakfast tray...ASAFDKLJG I WANT TO SEE MY BRETTY SLEEPING, DAMMIT. HE LOOKS SO ADORABIBBLE. and the latest episode of Rock of Love wasn't even uploaded to the VH1 website...I'm gonna have to wait to take screenies of Bret sleeping. HAY MITZY, YOU CAN WAIT FOR THE PICS RIGHT?

Before I finish this up, here's a really funny deleted scene from the previous episode of ROL. It's NSFW, though. Also, for those of you from school: NSFW means "not safe for work". It means you can't view it at work. It also means you guys probably shouldn't look.

<lj-embed id="13" />

~Hana K.

http://amasci.com/amateur/hovercft.html

I wanted to do this for my science project at school, but Dad said it'd be too much for me to carry. <strike>dammit, I was really looking forward to doing this so I could show Chris.</strike> So I'm posting the project here in case you guys want to make a cool hovercraft.

~Hana K. ♥
